What did you do best in this project? I think what I did best in this project was planning and using all the space in the house efficiently. I didn't want to have extra/wasted space because it defeats the point of having a big house if the rooms are small.
Tell about one important thing you learned in this project. By watching YouTube videos I learned how to make slanted roofs. I experimented with the program and learned how to do triangular shaped windows and edit furniture to a desired color and structure. In class I was taught how to do toposurface from a flat map and then add it to Revit.
What did you enjoy about creating your house? I enjoyed looking for furniture to add to my house. I really liked how pretty the house looks rendered both inside and out.
What do you wish you had spent more time on or done differently? I wished I had more time to find more modern furniture and edit the ones I picked because the house is modern on the outside but old-looking in the inside. The doors I picked don't fit with the design of the house, making the inside look bad. Also, next time instead of putting so many windows on the front of the house, changing the material of the wall to glass could improve the look of the house.
